Brentford
Brentford is home to some of the world's biggest corporations such as GlaxoSmithKline, Sky TV, BMW, Audi and Mercedes. Picturesque Syon Park, Gunnersbury Park, Kew Bridge Steam Museum and the Thames have long been been drawing people to this up and coming West London suburb.
Located where the Grand Union Canal and River Brent converge before joining the River Thames, Brentford offers a selection of river and canal walks along the Thames path providing great views of riverside attractions including rustic houseboats and Victorian buildings.
Transport
Brentford is serviced by a Mainline Station (SW Trains) which goes direct to Waterloo (25 mins). London Underground Piccadilly Line can be found at Boston Manor, South Ealing and Northfields, all of which are within easy reach either by foot or by bus. Major motorway links include the M4, M25 and M3. Heathrow Airport is easily accessible and is approximately 12 miles away by car.

Ultra modern Riverside apartments are plentiful in Brentford, as well as a mix of high spec town houses and Victorian houses rich with period features. The Butts Conservation area consists of Grade II listed houses and is considered to be one of West London’s most highly desirable districts. Brentford Dock Marina is situated on the tidal River Thames at the mouth of the Grand Union Canal between Kew Bridge and Isleworth in the southern part of Brentford, Middlesex. Once a working dock, today it is one of the area's undiscovered treasures.

A selection of restaurants can be found in and around Brentford, with lovely riverside pubs offering a good selection of freshly brewed ales and a wide variety of cuisine. A particular favourite is La Rosetta, a homely family run Italian restaurant @ 201 High Street, Brentford TW8 8AH.
Open spaces
Both Kew Gardens and Syon Park are just a stone's throw away. Boston Manor Park has recently benefited from funding and boasts an amazing kids' adventure play area, an ornamental lake, pavilion café, tennis courts and a beautiful walled garden. Gunnersbury Park is undergoing huge restoration, improving the setting of the mansions, conserving the garden buildings and the building of a new sports hub. It has recently been home to a number of music events.
